My name is Ryan Coleman and I am a full-time professional fishing guide on Lake Lanier, Georgia, and thank you for visiting my site. If you’re considering booking a fishing trip, I’d like to be your guide.
Lake Lanier has some of the best spotted bass fishing in the country, and I have called this lake “home” for more than 18 years.
During that time, I’ve averaged 5 or more days on the water each week, each month, each year. I pay my mortgage by finding and catching these fish, so you can bet that I’m doing everything I can to make a successful trip for you.
I am also an avid tournament angler, and welcome other tournament anglers on my boat. By staying active in the local fishing circuits, I keep my game polished and sharp. My pinnacle win was the BASS open held on Lanier several years ago (picture above at right).
My intent is to cater to the kind of fishing that YOU want to do.
Many of my clients want to focus on marine electronics, and I book many trips each year teaching people how to read charts, interpret sonar, and locate fish. We can even go in your boat and use your gear if you prefer it.
I also specialize in specific spotted bass fishing techniques, such as drop-shot, jigs, topwater and using the FishHead. Lanier is one of the best spotted bass lakes in the country, and spot-specific techniques take time to master. I can save you a lot of time and frustration—and maybe improve your tournament ranking!
I want your business, and I want to keep you coming back. So I promise to make your trip enjoyable, safe, and memorable.
